The Planning and carriage of containers some of them carrying dangerous cargo, on ships is a responsible task, in which every link of chain is important. In today's scenario, where most of this work is done ashore and often by BPO's training of office staff is an essential part of ensuring the safety of cargo, ship, and reputation of the carrier. This course covers the requirements of the US 49 CFR Hazmat regulations.
OBJECTIVES
To enables the participants to:
Have an overview of transport of cargo by Containers, in particular, the transport of Dangerous Cargo.
Have a deeper understanding of the IMDG Code and other International requirements with respect to transport of Dangerous Goods.
